(CSA-ES) Recertification Information

And to ensure all CSA-ES certification recipients maintain the highest level of proficiency and expertise in the industry, recertification will be required at 3-year intervals from the original date of issue.
In order to qualify for recertification and retain the designation as a Certified Safety Auditor - Electrical Specialist (CSA-ES), minimum guidelines and criteria for continuous professional development and training have been established as follows for the 3-Year certification cycle:
- A Minimum of 45 Continuing Education / Contact Hours
- Conducting / Supporting a Minimum of 9 Individual Audits
- Yearly Completion of NFPA 70E Electrical Safety Training
- Current Emergency Response CPR / AED Training

- Instructing and Teaching Electrical Safety Principles
- State Electrical Licensing Continuing Education
